MHS Bowling Head Coach DJ Wilder continues to earn plaudits amid several successful seasons spearheading the Bobcats Bowling program.
The Iowa Girls Coaches Association named Wilder Class 3A Coach of the Year. The MHS Girls Bowling team had an outstanding 2020-21 season, during which they broke a school scoring record and won the conference championship.
Wilder said he is proud of the MCSD community and leadership for supporting the MHS Bowling program.
This outstanding recognition follows an incredibly successful boys bowling season which saw the Bobcats triumph as Class 3A State Champions; the boys team were also state runners-up in 2019-20.
Wilder coaches both the girls and boys bowling programs, and both will continue to be formidable competitors under his excellent leadership.
