Preschool and kindergarten registration for the Marshalltown Community School District will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 23 at the Healthy Family Fair at the Marshalltown Mall, 2500 S. Center St.
Preschool
Preschool is tuition-free across the district and offered at all six elementary buildings.
– For children who will be 4 years old on or before September 15, 2019
– Transportation offered
– Bring a copy of the child’s proof of birth and immunization records
Kindergarten
– For children 5 years old on or before September 15, 2019
– Book fees will be assessed in fall
– Bring a copy of child’s proof of birth and immunization records
Preschool open house events
For those wanting to visit a preschool classroom, the district is hosting open house events at all six elementary schools (Anson, Fisher, Franklin, Hoglan, Rogers and Woodbury).
The open house events are from 2:30 to 4 p.m. on Monday, February 18 and from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, March 25.
