The Marshalltown High School math team competed in the state competition of the Greater Plains Math League on April 21 in Iowa City.
The MHS team included Jane Ragland, Trevor Ketcham, Jacob Eberle, Jordan Anderson and Zach Swartz.
Swartz qualified as an individual for the upcoming regional contest in Kansas City. Ketcham achieved the fifth highest sprint round score among sophomores.
