Lenihan Intermediate School’s Ricochet student leadership group led a successful canned food drive at the school recently. The group collected 910 cans of food from the school-wide drive in just one week and delivered the food to the Emergency Food Box on November 20.  The food will go to help those in need in the area.

As an added bonus, the school held a raffle for students who brought cans of food and four students won frozen turkeys that were donated by Lenihan Principal Kyle Young.

“We appreciate him getting behind this project to give back to our students,” said Lenihan teacher and Ricochet leader Diane Simpson.
