Children’s author and musician Eric Litwin sings a song with help from Anson Elementary School first grader Jordyn Larson during a visit to the school on November 14. Litwin visited four Marshalltown elementary schools during his stop.
Best selling author and musician Eric Litwin paid a visit to four elementary schools in the Marshalltown Community School District November 14 and 15. Litwin has written several children’s books and he is the original author of the Pete the Cat series.
As part of his stop he provided music, humor and an interactive experience for students and staff at Franklin, Anson, Fisher and Hoglan schools.
“Students were excited from the beginning,” said Anson Principal Ronnie Manis. “His performance is very interactive, so he had students up and moving and having a great time. The kids were singing right along with everything and so were the adults.”
