Marshalltown High School senior Immaculate Edwin receives a $2,000 Grand Lodge of Iowa Scholarship from Brandon Ruopp during the MHS scholarship awards night on May 22 at the MHS/Community Auditorium. Edwin will attend Iowa State University in the fall with a major of Biochemistry (Pre-medicine).
Marshalltown High School hosted the annual scholarship awards event on May 22 at the MHS/Community Auditorium. Graduating seniors were recognized for the scholarships they have earned at the post-secondary level. The students recognized at the event are earning more than $1 million in college scholarships the next four years and $391,345 in their first year alone.
The event featured several community members and MHS staff handing out the scholarship recognitions.
Graduation May 28
The Class of 2017 will graduate at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 28 in the MHS Roundhouse. Doors open at 1 p.m.
