Two Marshalltown High School students produced art which was selected by Simpson College to be on display as part of a high school art contest. Junior Molly Bach made a pottery piece and senior Ashley Macbeth had a charcoal drawing selected for the display.
Macbeth had art selected for last year’s Simpson exhibit and received a fourth place award.
“I’m very proud of them,” said MHS art teacher Wade Judge.
A ceremony announcing the winners will be held at Simpson College on February 24. Their art is currently on display in the Willis Gallery at Simpson.
