Team 7C won the Miller Middle School Hunger Games, a competition held November 22 to celebrate a successful canned food drive at the school. As a reward for having a highly-successful canned food drive, Miller Middle School hosted a Hunger Games themed competition and assembly on November 22.
The school collected 3,762 food items during the recent drive, which will be donated to those in need.
The assembly included four rounds of events with the winning team of Miller 7C (seventh grade) being crowned.
Also at the assembly, students who sold items for a recent fundraiser were randomly selected and awarded with gifts that were donated to the school, such as a 43-inch television.
