Marshalltown High School hosted a small ceremony marking the opening of the new weight room and fitness center at the MHS Roundhouse on May 11.
It features a wide array of state-of-the-art strength training equipment as well as fitness equipment to be utilized by students at the school.
The school recognized Terry Buzbee and his family for donating funds used to purchase equipment for the new facility. Buzbee did not grow up in Marshalltown but lives here and takes pride in the town and school district.
“I have tremendous pride in the city and a lot of pride in the Marshalltown Bobcats,” Buzbee said.
