The Bobcat Marching Band from Marshalltown High School earned its 14th consecutive Division I rating at the Iowa High School Music Association State Marching Band Festival held Saturday, Oct. 11, in Fort Dodge.
Performing their show “West Side Story”, the band earned a strong Division I rating with a score of 84.25 out of 100. The band will compete at the Waukee Invitational on Oct. 18. Their performance time is 9:40 p.m. in Waukee. The band has also been invited to perform for the 8-man and Class 1A State Football Championships on Nov. 20 in Cedar Falls.
The annual Band Extravaganza is Monday, Oct. 20, at 7:00 p.m. in the MHS/Community Auditorium! The public is invited and there is an admission charge.
