Marshalltown High School students Min Lin and Courtney Krein placed first and second respectively in the VFW Auxiliary’s annual patriotic poster contest.
This is the third year Min Lin has won the Marshall County District contest. His poster will now be entered in the state competition with the possibility of advancing to nationals.
Min Lin and Krein were recognized at the VFW awards dinner held April 15.
