Before students embarked on Thanksgiving Break, third grade students at Fisher Elementary embarked on another journey – one through the history of Ellis Island and immigration in the early 20th Century.
Third grade students participated in a simulation Tuesday, Nov. 26, that took them through the different steps experienced by immigrants arriving at Ellis Island around the turn of the last century.
