
Students and staff from Rogers Elementary walk to the National Guard Armory on Monday as part of the Healthiest State Initiative.
Students at several schools took a few extra steps this week toward making Iowa the healthiest state as part of Governor Terry Branstad’s Healthiest State Initiative.
The official Healthiest State Walk occurred yesterday, with numerous businesses and community organizations taking part in a 1 kilometer (7.5 block) walk.
