President Barack Obama stopped in Marshalltown Tuesday afternoon, the first sitting president to stop since Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1940.
President Obama’s visit was part of a three-day campaign trip across Iowa. Before stopping in Marshalltown he held a rally in Oskaloosa and shorty after speaking in the Miller Middle School old gym he departed for Waterloo.
