Marshalltown High School band, choir and orchestra students earned a combined 65 Division I ratings at the State Solo/Ensemble Contest held Saturday, April 14, in Fort Dodge.
The band earned 37 division I ratings, 21 division II ratings and 4 division III ratings.
The choir earned 16 division I ratings, 17 division II ratings and 6 division III ratings.
The orchestra earned 12 division I ratings. Elizabeth Anderson earned the outstanding performance award given to only one performance from the entire day in each center.
