The Marshalltown High School Instrumental Department will present its Spring Concert on Sunday, April 29, 2012, at 3 p.m. in the MHS/Community Auditorium. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students with activity cards honored.
Featured will be the Symphonic Band under the direction of Brett Umthun and the Wind Symphony under the direction of Bret Lee. During the concert the MHS Band Class of 2012 will be individually recognized for their participation in the MHS Band Program.
Both groups are in the final stages of preparation for the Iowa High School Music Association State Large Group Festival to be held at Des Moines Roosevelt on May 5. The Wind Symphony will perform at 8:25 a.m. and the Symphonic Band will perform at 9:40 a.m.
