Preregistration is underway for the Marshalltown Madness 5K, 10K and Children’s Run to be held Saturday, May 5, 2012, at the Marshalltown High School Track.
The children’s walk/run begins at 8a.m. (quarter mile for ages 0-7 and half mile for ages 8-12). The 5K and 10K road walk/run begins at 8:30a.m.
Preregistration continues until April 30 and costs $20. All race participants receive a medal, T-shirt and refreshments on race day. Late registration, May 1-4, is $25. T-shirts for late registrants may not be available the day of the race.
The children’s walk/run registration fee is $10.
Awards will be given to the top overall male and female participant, as well as the top male and female in different age groups.
Participants who preregister can pick up their packets Friday, May 4, at the MHS main office from 4pm until 6pm. Race-Day packet pickup will begin at 7am.
Proceeds benefit the MHS Health Careers Club and iJAG.
