Miller students selected for Blank Summer Institute

Six Miller Middle School students have been selected for the Blank Summer Institute for the Arts & Sciences at the University of Iowa June 26-July 1, 2011.

The Institute is a program of the Belin-Blank Center for Gifted Education and Talent Development and selects only 15-17 students per subject area for a week long residential program. The Blank Summer Institute “provides exceptionally talented students with an intensive and advanced educational experience designed to enhance their intellectual and social growth.”

All of the Miller students who applied for the program were accepted. Each also receives a $300 Myron and Jacqueline Blank Summer Scholarship to cover a portion of the cost.
